NZ to consider public holiday to honour Queen

A public holiday and memorial service to honour the life of Queen Elizabeth II are to be considered by the government on Monday.

This follow's Australia's decision to observe a public holiday on 22 September, three days after the Queen's funeral.

Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese made the announcement earlier today.
