A motorcycle crash has left one person dead in Ōpōtiki, Bay of Plenty.
Police, who were altered to the crash about 6:43pm on Friday evening, have confirmed that one person died following the accident on Bridge Street, Ōpōtiki
The road was closed while police examined the scene.
An investigation into the cause of the crash is underway.
