Online extra - eSports, the future of Video Gaming in NZ

The New Zealand Gaming Championship has kicked off, with the 2015 Champions 'Villains' back to defend their title against five new qualifying teams. Director of Letsplay.live Duane Mutu says the winning team heading on once-in-a-lifetime adventure to the League of Legends World Finals in Los Angeles, America.

A total six teams will be competing, returning defending Champions Villians will look to again win the competition against the other five teams, Decode, Tiger Eye, 2EZ Gaming, Team D.N.A and King V.

Each week teams of six will face each other in the Hexedome. The live Grand Final will take place at MOTAT's Idea Collective on Wednesday October 12th.
