307 passengers and crew members were on board the Asiana Airlines flight when its tail hit a seawall before bursting into flames on the runway.

The airport is closed and all flights have been cancelled while investigations are carried out.

Amongst those stranded at the airport was a haka group from AUT University, who were booked to fly back to NZ today.
