A petition calling for Sir Bob Jones' knighthood to be revoked will be handed to Parliament today.
The petition, launched by Māori filmmaker Renae Maihi, comes after Jones suggested that a new public holiday should be introduced called Māori Gratitude Day instead of Waitangi Day.
More than 65,000 people signed the petition which will be received by Labour Party's Kiritapu Allen.
