Productivity of Pacific Leaders forum questioned

As Pacific leaders meet in the Marshall Islands, there's a question of just how productive the annual forum is.

The forum is in its 44th year and comprises 16 countries in which issues of significance are discussed amoung the representatives.

Our political reporter has been following the conference and for the details, Te Kāea crossed live to Maiki Sherman.

She says the overall consensus is the forum is worthwhile.

However, there are those who agree there is room for improvement, but it's true this is the only time all the Pacific leaders can gather together and the benefits are clearly visible.
