Pulse defeat Mystics for top placing

The Northern Mystics, maintained full control in the first quarter and their strength of play was evident.

Before the break, the Pulse gained strength, and as the second quarter arrived, they were winning 12-11.

It was a different story again at half-time. The Mystics were ahead 25-24, and that saw Pulse coach, Robyn Broughton sending in both Liana Leota and Donna Wilkins to play.

Pulse defenders Katrina Grant and Te Huinga Reo Selby-Rickit helped their team maintain a comfortable lead.

In the end, the Pulse came out on top to win 49-45.

Next week, the Pulse will face the Queensland Firebirds and the West Coast Fever will face the Mystics.
