Aboriginal group focus on housing the homeless

A group of Aboriginals were welcomed to an ancient homestead where descendants are building rammed-earth homes.

From a branch of the Housing Homelessness Network in the state of Victoria, they are here to look at plans and strategies to address the housing shortage.

This particular home was fully researched prior to the start of construction.  A project to build another three homes now has government support. The knowledge and information gathered to date

The group plan to host an indigenous housing conference early next year.
