From rugby to Manpower

It's the polished dance routines complete with costume changes and not to mention the buff physiques of half-naked men that has women lining up in droves.

Male dancing hasn't always been on the cards for Aiden Te Puke, who had his sights set on making it big in rugby.  But for the aspiring fullback, he kept getting injured and ended up breaking his leg.

Then a chance discovery via social media meant an offer to join the group, setting in motion a very different career pathway for the then 26-year-old.

Five years later and this Mormon boy is a long way from the rugby field, living in Las Vegas permanently while performing up to 12 shows a week at the Excalibur Casino.

It's the first time he's been back to NZ since he joined Manpower. While he's back in the country, the group will perform 16 shows in 16 different towns across the country.
