The veteran president of the Te Arawa RSA League stood alone due to the main commemoration being cancelled in Rotorua this morning.
Te Kei o Te Waka Merito told reporter Kereama Wright regardless of where we stand the important thing is to remember those who gave their blood for God, King and for Country.
