Ruatōria schoolboy gifted Milner-Skudder's RWC boots

A young boy from Ruatōrea stole the hearts of many who attended the All Blacks Parade today.

Te Kāea was granted exclusive access to the All Blacks' hotel to speak with Nehe Milner-Skudder and his biggest fan, 10-year-old Ruatōria schoolboy, Ngarimu Kuratiwaka.

Not only did Ngarimu get the chance to present his rugby idol with a homemade cake in front of a packed out crowed in Victoria Park, he was also extremely lucky to be gifted Milner-Skudder’s boots which were worn during the Rugby World Cup.

Ngarimu says, “Oh, I was shy as nervous.”

The current Year 6 student of TKKM o Te Waiū o Ngāti Porou says he wants to go to Ngata College now, where Nehe's mum is the principal.

Milner-Skudder says, “Big mihi to mum for the cake as well, yeah nah it’s just a real buzz bro, it’s awesome!”
