Semi-finalists impress at Lion Nathan Netball Champs

It's down to the business end of the Lion Nathan Netball Champs held at Trusts Arena in West Auckland.

14 teams from around the country have been battling it out with the top four rising above the rest for a semi-final berth today.

Te Kāea went to the first semi-final between Wellington and North Harbour.

Wellington beat last year’s champs Dunedin to get through to the semi-finals and they started off just as strong in this game.

Despite their dominance initially North Harbour fought back levelling the score at 13-all.

Another even display in the second spell but this time North Harbour snatched the lead 24-26.

Harbour pulled away in the third quarter with great execution in the shooting circle.

With their confidence sky high, North Harbour finished their opposition off, winning 61 to 48 and advancing to the finals tomorrow.
