A stellar year of hockey for Tūwharetoa's Jordan Grant

Tūwharetoa's Jordan Grant has had a stellar 2014.

In February, she made her debut at the Black Sticks' Three Nations tournament in San Diego.

She was a part of the national team at the Commonwealth Games but this week her focus lies with her regional team at National Hockey League.

Jordan is playing for her beloved Canterbury side, however, she won't be playing against Central after injuring herself in a game on Monday, but she's hoping to be back for tomorrow's semi-final.

Jordan has met all her hockey goals this year after her debut for the Black Sticks at the beginning of the year.

She says, "A couple of years ago we won, it which was amazing  Last year we came fourth so we're just looking to hopefully bring it home again this year."

This week the focus is helping her regional team reach the semi-finals and then claim the prestigious title once again.

If she is fit enough to get back out there, Canterbury might just reach that goal.
