Many family members and the wider community gathered at Makaurau Marae, to mourn the loss of the Waikato-Tainui, Te Kawerau-a-Maki, Te Ākitai, Ngāti Te Ata and Ngāti Mahanga descendant, who passed away yesterday in Auckland Hospital.
