Tai Tokerau Maranga Mai E Te Iwi - Ngā Uri o Tūteauru

Ngā Uri o Tūteauru kapa haka was formed in 2009 aiming to perform socially and professionally representing their whānau, hapū and iwi.

This newly-created group endeavours to strengthen and enhance their three valleys of Waimā, Tāheke, and Ōtaua by enhancing and developing Māori performing arts within their community.

The majority of the rōpū are first-time performers and are really excited to be here at this event, with their harakeke kākahu which shone on the stage.

The male leader today is Heremaia Tangihaere, and the female leader is Chanelle Brown.

Here is Ngā Uri o Tūteauru and their waiata tira.
