Andrew Hollis is a long-time city councillor in Tauranga. Last year he made headlines after calling for an end to the Treaty of Waitangi, saying it drives racism and is a symbol of separatism today.
Now, while he agrees that racism exists everywhere, he says the blatant racism some Māori claim to have experienced is not true.
