Ngāti Rangiwewehi Pakeke 2 have set the scene for Day 2 of the Te Arawa Senior Kapa Haka Competition in Rotorua.
As one of three Ngāti Rangiwewehi groups who have entered this year, they come to support the wider cause of the day, in helping to boost Te Arawa's representation at next year's Te Matatini Festival being held in Christchurch.
Singing some of their iwi classics, Ngāti Rangiwewehi Pakeke 2 have warmed the stage as the first group of the day, and warmed the crowd's hearts.
