Te Utuhina Manaakitanga Trust is a community-based counselling service covering the regions of Tūrangi, Taupō and Rotorua, which was formed in 2012.
It also has a residential alcohol and other drug (AOD) service for the Lakes regions of Lakes, Bay of Plenty, Waikato, Taranaki and Te Tai Rāwhiti.
The whānau performing today stand strong in unity, as a combination of staff and clients of Te Utuhina.
The Trust's main goal is to help reduce the harm caused by alcohol and drugs in a way that upholds Māori aspirations and values.
