Te Kura Māori o Porirua were the sixth group to take the stage for pool C today.
Established in 2007, the rōpū have been the national representatives for the Te Whanganui-ā-Tara ki Ōtaki region three times prior in 2010, 2012 and 2014.
The leaders of the group are kaitātaki tāne Tipene MacDonald and kaitātaki wahine Te Punawai Hotu.
The item the rōpū have chosen to share is their Waiata ā-ringa “Te mana motuhake o te tamaiti” which calls for us to celebrate and embrace our children.
