Te Oro Anatomy of a Song workshop with Ria Hall

Ria Hall will be hosting an Anatomy of a Song workshop tomorrow night, part four of the Song Anatomy series held at Te Oro in Auckland's Glen Innes.

The workshops, presented by APRA and Te Oro, are held on the first Thursday of every month, and gives a unique insight into individual approaches to writing music.

For this particular workshop, Tauranga Moana songstress Ria Hall will be discussing how vocals and harmonies contribute to the song-writing process.

With her vast experience on the kapa haka and music stage, Hall will no doubt have some key tips to share with aspiring and established song-writers.

The workshop is free of charge but registration is essential.  Check out the Te Oro website here for more details.

The workshop follows a spectacular performance taking place tonight, where Hall will join other leading Kiwi vocalists including Ladi 6, Whirimako Black, Annie Crummer, Hollie Smith, Julia Dean and special guest Camille O'Sullivan for the show, Lady Sings The Blues.

Lady Sings The Blues wowed spectators earlier this year in March, with rave reviews posted after the event.  For more info, check out the Ticketmaster website.
