The Crown is seeking submissions from the people of Ngāpuhi on the Deed of Mandate to appoint Tūhoronuku as the legal entity to settle the tribe's treaty grievances with the Crown.
However, the tribunal hearings of Te Paparahi o Te Raki inquiry are still being heard.
