Saturday marked the end of an era for a programme that has fostered excellence in te reo Māori, with the final 33 students of Te Panekiretanga o Te Reo graduating. The programme was started 15 years ago by Sir Timoti Karetu, Professor Pou Temara and the late Dr Wharehuia Milroy.
