Te Kura Kaupapa Maori o Te Kura Kokiri has won the A grade final at the National Secondary Schools Basketball competition held in Palmerston North this week, beating Opunake 60 - 86.
Twelve teams were in Te Kura Kaupapa Maori o Te Kura Kokiri’s section, which was split into two pools. Kokiri was in Pool 2 who played against Waihi, St Marys Stratford, St Kevin’s, Linwood and Te Aroha.
TKKM o Te Kura Kokiri won all of their games at the competition and below are their results:

TKKM o Te Kura Kokiri beat St Kevins 105 - 34
TKKM o Te Kura Kokiri beat Te Aroha 79 - 51
TKKM o Te Kura Kokiri beat Buller 91 - 65
TKKM o Te Kura Kokiri beat Opunake in the final 86 - 60.
