Two men arrested and charged with murder of Clayton Ratima

Two men have been arrested and charged with the murder of Tribesmen Motorcycle gang prospect Clayton Ratima.

24-year-old Ratima was assaulted at the gang's headquarters on 21 February this year. He was taken to Middlemore hospital with severe injuries and died three days later.

Manukau Police Detective Inspector Fa'a Vaaelua says the men, aged 31 and 32 years old, were arrested early this morning and will appear in the Manukau District Court today.

Detective Inspector Vaaelua says, "The family and friends of Mr Ratima have been told this morning about the arrests we've made.

The whānau is appreciative of the result achieved by the investigation team.
