United Nations Pageant a dream come true for Māori contestant

26-year-old Hannah Paul is making waves in the world. Under the United Nations she's won the right to represent NZ and her feeling is beyond words.

“It's always been a dream of mine to represent NZ, let alone my home town and being Māori.”

It will be the second time Hannah will be representing NZ in this event, something that she is looking forward to.

Competing alongside her are four others who will also be vying for the titles of Miss, Mrs and Mr United Nations in the competition.

Hannah says, “It's alright to chase your dreams and to not be shy, because I know there's a lot of shy Māori out there.”
