Suppression has been lifted on an additional charge laid against Korotangi Paki, son of Kīng Tūheitia.

The charge brings into question Paki's eligibility to stand as a trustee and as a possible succesor to his father's throne.
In May this year, the 18-year-old, along with three other men, pleaded guilty to two charges of burglary and theft after breaking into property in Gisborne.
Last Friday, the other three young men who participated in the crimes with Paki were discharged without conviction from the Gisborne District Court.
