Established in 1970, Te Kotahitanga consists of a multi tribal group from various Iwi throughout Aotearoa based in the Waitaha region.
Te Kotahitanga were proud to represent their rohe at Te Matatini o Te Ra 2011.
The group is tutored by Te Huaki Puanaki, Tihi Puanaki and Wiremu Puanaki a family with a strong influence and immense talent in te ao waiata Māori.
Te Huaki leads his group as the Manukura Tāne and three talented women play the role of female lead, they are Tihi Puanaki, Michelle Manuel and Rochelle Paki.
