Warriors defeat Raiders in Mother’s day clash

With less than four minutes played the Warriors crossed the try-line.

Not long after, the Warriors pounced again with their second try to seal a 12-0 lead.

Konrad Hurrell put his controversial week behind him with an inspired performance, running strongly to gain metres as well as scoring his own try.

More than 18,000 fans cheered on the home team in the Mother's Day game, the Warriors led 24-6 at half-time.

The try scoring fest continued for the Warriors in the second-half.

The Warriors finished up with 9 tries and Shaun Johnson added extra two points converting all of them, including his own two tries. Final score was 54-12

The Warriors are 10th on the NRL table, and hope to maintain their form heading into next week's game against the Bulldogs at Waikato Stadium.
