Warriors spring a surprise on sick children's pj party

Patients and caregivers at Kidz First Children's Hospital at Middlemore were treated to a pleasant surprise today by the Vodafone Warriors stars at their 'Jammies in June' pyjama party.

A pyjama party to raise awareness.

Warriors forward, Ben Henry says "It's pretty cold at the moment, i think this is why the Warriors are putting this effort together, putting on pjs staying warm.

Kidz First are celebrating their Jammies in June party and Warriors stars have tagged along.

"They just interact with the kids so well and we're always thrilled to see them because it's just a whole positive spin on a child's day in hospital," says Marlene Stratton.

Albert Vete of the Warriors adds, "The illnesses they have are respiratory so keeping them warm will help prevent that."

This Saturday the Vodafone Warriors will host the Canberra at Mount Smart Stadium, where the theme will be #OnesieParty to help support the Kidz First's cause.
