New research shows water quality is improving for all rivers monitored in Southland, as it is nationally.
A study by Land, Air, Water Aotearoa found that rivers monitored over a 10-year period are improving.
Those to thank include land users, businesses, iwi and community groups working hard to make a difference.
But researchers say to keep the trend ongoing more work needs to be expanded.
