At 12.05pm today a woman was hit by a car on Mount Albert Rd, Three Kings.
The woman has been taken to hospital with serious injuries.
The Police Serious Crash Unit are at the scene investigating the incident.
Mount Albert Rd has been closed between Hayr Rd and Warren Ave while the scene is examined.
Road diversions are in place.
