Woodman whānau watch Portia play Olympic final

Rugby power houses New Zealand and Australia are about to battle it out for Olympic gold.

Portia Woodman’s whānau wait in anticipation for her to take the field. Her father Kawhena Woodman says getting Gold would be the icing on the cake.

Kawhena Woodman says “A possible gold is scary to think about. We believe our tupuna are watching and part of all this too. Ka rawe!!!”

Woodman’s uncle Roger Dalton is also there.

Dalton says, “The environment, it’s better than anyone expected.”
