World Wildlife Fund NZ urges action on climate

An open letter from World Wildlife Fund New Zealand has been presented to the government urging more action on climate change.

It was signed by more than 200 people as well as the mayors of Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch.

The letter congratulates the government on their goal of getting the country to net zero emissions by 2050.

It comes the day before a public consultation on the proposed Zero Carbon Bill begins.
