Wu-Tang Clan to headline Raggamuffin 2016

Raggamuffin has just announced today that legendary hip-hop act Wu-Tang Clan will headline the popular festival in February. This will be the very first time the group has performed in New Zealand.

Wu-Tang Clan will now join reggae legends UB40 to front the concert at Trusts Arena, Auckland on Saturday 20 February 2016.

Emerging in 1993, the story of the Wu is one of controversy and some of the most exciting genre-defining hip-hop ever produced.

Wu-Tang Clan is one of the most renowned hip-hop groups of all time. They released seven studio albums, from their debut, Enter the Wu-Tang (26 Chambers), through to their latest, multi-million dollar, single copy The Wu- Once Upon a Time in Shaolin. Along with a host of solo albums and associated projects, the Wu-Tang has contributed to all that defines hip-hop.

The one-day event will also see the likes of Sly & Robbie, Inner Circle, Maxi Priest, Junior Marvin’s Wailers, Spawnbreezie, Boo Yaa T.R.I.B.E, Three Houses Down and Tomorrow People take to the stage.

Tickets for Raggamuffin IX are on sale now and include VIP tickets, Grandstand tickets, GA tickets, Family passes and Youth tickets. You can buy yours through Ticketmaster
