A 10-year-old boy has died following a serious fire in Hastings yesterday. Another child injured in the fire remains is in a stable condition in hospital.
Police are investigating the cause of the fire which occurred on Heretaunga Street in a building believed to be vacant at the time.
Police are treating the fire as suspicious and would like to hear from anyone who may have information.
