Young crossfitter ready to take on world's best in LA

Levi Ririnui is 17 Years old and is one of 12 People whom have been chosen to represent New Zealand at the Teen Gauntlet Crossfit competition held in LA.

He trains 12 times a week, 2 hours every day as he prepares for one of the biggest competitions of his life.

The 17-year old has been invited to the Teen Gauntlet Crossfit competition in LA, which will have children competitors from Australia, Europe, Asia and the United States entering.

He's one of 12  who will compete on behalf of New Zealand and trains at CrossFit Waikato.

His trainer, Johnny Gillett, is pleased with his efforts and gives Levi the chance to train whenever he wants.

Levi is a student at Hamilton Boys High school and tries to juggle both school and CrossFit.

He's only been in the sport for 12 months and is surprised at how far he has come.

The New Zealand competitors will fly out to America next month to compete.
