Youth to inspire at "Festival for the Future"

Festival for the Future is an event that will see over 500 youth between the ages of 18 and 30, come together to discuss big issues and explore how they can help better their communities and the world.

This event will take place at AUT over the course of a weekend and kicks off on the 4th of September.

It is a chance for youth to connect with innovators, share ideas, learn new skills, get creative and hear from inspiring young people doing extraordinary things.

One outstanding guest speaker is 26-year-old Sasha Fisher who is a Forbes 30 under 30 social entrepreneur. Fisher is the founder of a microgrants organisation that supports community projects in Uganda, Rwanda and Burundi.

A number of speakers from Australia and New Zealand will also be attending.

Festival for the Future is now in its 5th year and is predicted to be an exciting, informative and inspiring weekend for all youth involved.
